Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka, from Minsk (the capital city of Belarus), was the son of Sergey. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. in 2019) was an athlete in ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka, a Belarusian born May 5th 1998. She has been able to win twelve WTA singles championships, which includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open in 2023. The doubles play she plays is superb and she has also won Majors during the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), each of them together with Elise Mertens. Together with her fellow Belgian tennis player, she won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. Four women's teams have achieved this feat. World singles rankings rose again to its highest position on the 20th of January, 2023. The same year she won at Melbourne before she was ranked number one in the world when it comes to doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) coached her for part of 2019 as well as from the year 2018 until end. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow nationman, has been her coach from the year 2020. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her heroes.
